How was Cottage Markétka created?

We are a family that was so charmed by the Eagle Mountains that we decided to build our own cottage here. Years later, we had the opportunity to purchase a guest house with the original name Hubert at the same location, which we completely renovated in 2022.

We tried to use all our positive knowledge and experience to create family-type accommodation where you will feel at home. We want Chata Markétka to become a stable harbor for you, to which you can return after a whole day on your feet and gather strength for the next adventure with us.

At the same time, we renamed the original Penzion Hubert to Chata Markétka, after our beloved daughter, who spent a beautiful childhood here thanks to her relationship with the local nature, animals and friends she found here. Thanks to her, this place is etched in our hearts.

We firmly believe that our cottage and, by extension, the entire Orlické hory will earn a place of honor in your hearts as well, and you will be happy to come back to us.
